IDS-1 Variable Intelligent Drive System

 

 

 

The IDS-1 Variable Intelligent Drive System is a compact stand alone LED Driver capable of running up to 36 high power LEDs at a selectable forward current of between 500mA and 1000mA, with the current of each output being selectable by the user.

The system is based on Pulsed Amplitude Modulation with closed loop thermal feedback, which is patented under the colourcool™ technology in Europe, USA, Japan and Australia. This technology enables excellent colour matching and perfectly smooth dimming, as well as optimising the life expectancy of the fixtures connected to the driver.

The universal voltage input with CE certification (UL to follow shortly) guarantees a simple installation anywhere in the world, with no complicated dipswitches. In addition the choice of either an RJ45 or DIN rail output makes for a very adaptable driver.

The IDS-1 Variable offers a wealth of pre-built functions such as static colours, cross fades and cycle washes. If a wider selection of programs is required, the unit can also be controlled by DMX.

Please note that Tryka luminaires (Strip Modules and Flect-O-LED) can be run at a maximum of 700mA; operation above this current will overheat the units and result in their warranty being void.
