The Design Museum in London was one of the venues chosen for the first Switched On London event, which saw landmarks across the capital literally come to life in a show of stunning lighting displays. The Design Museum has established itself as an ambassador for contemporary design and new design talent recognised worldwide, which made its inclusion in this inaugural festival of lights even more significant. |

A selection of Tryka's new Strip Modules in 1200mm lengths were installed at the museum for the duration of the light spectacular. The Strips feature the latest K2 Luxeon LEDs - which generate approximately 20% more light output at 350mA and over double the output at 700mA - and are IP65 for all interior and exterior installations. The Strips were used to illuminate the prominent stairwell elevation with a colour-changing wash of light, the effects of which grabbed the attention of both visitors and passers by. Tryka L.E.D.
